Position: Instructor for Modern Jewish Stories Course
Join the University of Manitoba as a Sessional Instructor for JUD 3010. Teach Modern Jewish Stories while fostering student success and engagement from January to April 2027.

This part-time position requires a strong educator to deliver course content effectively for JUD 3010, beginning January 1, 2027. Candidates must hold a Master's degree or Ph.D. and have demonstrated teaching experience. Responsibilities include preparing materials, grading assignments, and providing timely feedback to students to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop instructional and assessment materials for students

• Conduct engaging lessons and evaluate student performance

• Provide detailed feedback on examinations and assignments

• Hold regular office hours for student assistance

• Address student concerns with an empathetic approach

Requirements:

• Master's degree, Ph.D. or candidate preferred

• Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written

• Relevant academic background in Judaic Studies

• Experience teaching at the post-secondary level required

• Previous instruction in related subjects considered beneficial

Provide quality education and mentorship to students in Jewish Studies at the University of Manitoba.
