Position: Full-Time Preschool Educator at Saplings
Make a difference at Saplings Outdoor Program as a full-time Preschool Educator, starting in September 2026. Emphasize play-based outdoor learning and engage with preschoolers in nature.

This role requires passionate educators to guide children aged 2.5 to 5 years through enriching outdoor experiences. You'll create a supportive environment using teamwork and reflection while overseeing children’s exploration in various weather conditions. Your ECE or ECEA certification and experience in early childhood education will be essential to navigate this unique educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan engaging play-based learning experiences outdoors

• Oversee child-led exploration and promote inquiry

• Supervise children actively in outdoor settings

• Conduct risk assessments for outdoor activities

• Foster strong relationships with families

Requirements:

• Valid ECE or ECEA certification necessary

• Experience with children ages 3-5 years required

• Willingness to achieve First Aid certification

• Comfortable working in diverse weather conditions

• Understanding of child development theories
