The DSBN is seeking a qualified educator to fill a permanent teaching role for Technology and Hospitality and Tourism. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to equity and inclusion, leveraging their skilled experience to empower a diverse student body. The position requires teachers who are in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and possess the relevant qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Technology, Hospitality and Tourism to grades 11 and 12
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Incorporate real-world experiences in curriculum
- Engage students through innovative teaching methods
- Foster a sense of community and belonging
- Ontario College of Teachers certification
- Expertise in Hospitality and Tourism subject areas
- Experience in a production kitchen preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
- Ability to provide accommodations as needed
