Join us in teaching PSYC 4P30 Positive Psychology in Fall 2026 as an Instructor. Share your expertise in theories and research on positive experiences with undergraduates.
We require a dedicated instructor for the PSYC 4P30 course tailored for university students. This role encompasses delivering lectures and offering TA supervision while being approachable during office hours. An advanced degree in psychology, or ABD status, is necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures on positive psychology
- Supervise undergraduate TAs and manage student interactions
- Maintain availability during office hours for support
- Administer course materials and facilitate learning
- Follow guidelines outlined in the Collective Agreement
- Demonstrated teaching experience in positive psychology
- Advanced graduate degree in psychology (or ABD)
- Comprehensive knowledge of positive psychological principles
- Commitment to TA support and student engagement
- Fulfill a 195-hour course workload
