Instruct aspiring musicians as a Music Lessons Teacher with Long & McQuade in Prince George, BC. Teach a variety of instruments in both group and individual settings.
Long & McQuade is seeking qualified independent contractors for its Lesson Centres. Ideal candidates will possess a music degree, RCM credentials, or equivalent skilled experience, along with a passion for teaching music. This role requires competence in lesson planning and execution with students of various ages.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct lessons in piano, bass, drums, and more
- Develop engaging lesson plans for students
- Implement proven teaching methods and curricula
- Facilitate small group and private lesson sessions
- Create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere
- Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing or music degree
- Prior teaching experience with students of all ages
- Familiarity with standard music teaching methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to nurturing students' musical abilities
