This role invites candidates with an interdisciplinary focus on creative innovation and knowledge of curriculum design and student experience. You will engage in teaching graduate courses, supervise innovative capstone projects, and enhance industry partnership ecosystems in areas like film, animation, and interactive media.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach graduate courses on interactive storytelling and game design
• Supervise thesis and capstone projects in immersive experiences
• Develop inclusive curriculum highlighting diversity and equity
• Engage in applied research with Sheridan’s research centres
• Build strong industry and community partnerships
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in animation, game studies, or related fields
• Experience in screen-based disciplines and graduate-level teaching
• Emerging capacity in applied research and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with Canadian media industry challenges
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
