Position: Part-Time Youth Care Worker Role
Make a difference as a Part-Time Youth Care Worker, supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with educators to develop tailored educational plans and foster community connections.

This essential role involves working closely with teachers and administrators to create individualized plans for students. Your responsibilities include conducting home visits, providing guidance to families, and actively participating in meetings to discuss student progress. You will also help organize special events and coordinate transportation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating individual education plans for students

• Conduct essential home and community visits

• Provide guidance and support to families

• Organize educational field trips and events

• Communicate regularly with parents and school staff

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and relevant post-secondary qualification

• Minimum of two years’ experience in youth care

• Valid driver's license in British Columbia

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with maturity
