The SK617(SB1) Interpersonal Anti-Racism course promotes understanding of racism in social contexts. Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related discipline, along with eligibility to teach at the graduate level. This position invites instructors to reflect on their lived experiences concerning race and develop skills to combat racism in practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach anti-racism principles in social work
• Facilitate discussions on microaggressions and microinvalidations
• Guide students to self-reflect on race-related experiences
• Prepare course materials and assessments
• Engage in ongoing professional development
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
• Experience teaching graduate courses highly valued
• PhD in a relevant field is an asset
• Evidence of good teaching practices required
• Must provide referee contacts and eligibility proof
