ContextIn the Winnipeg School Division, we are looking for a Principal to lead Harrow School, focusing on ages Nursery to Grade 6 with a student body of approximately 225. Candidates must demonstrate solid leadership in literacy, numeracy, and inclusive practices while promoting a relationship-focused approach to create a safe and vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities- Foster culturally responsive learning environments
- Support inclusive practices for EAL and neuro‑diverse learners
- Implement nature/play-based and inquiry learning
- Build partnerships with families and community stakeholders
- Model best practices in literacy and Indigenous education
- Ensure every child at Harrow School feels valued, secure, and supported through exemplary leadership
- Proven experience in school leadership and community engagement
- Understanding of Indigenous knowledge and practices
- Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation principles
- Strong relationship skills with diverse populations
- Advocacy for student well‑being and inclusion
