Join McGill University as a Teaching Assistant for Thoracic Anatomy, facilitating medical students' learning in Quebec. Contribute to essential laboratory teaching in anatomy dissections.
This part time role involves mentoring first-year medical students through thoracic dissections, emphasizing the thoracic wall, lungs, and heart. With 29 hours dedicated to teaching across laboratory sessions, review classes, and exam preparations, effective communication is a must. While English is essential, knowledge of French is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct twelve detailed dissection lab sessions
- Facilitate two anatomy review sessions for students
- Prepare and assist in anatomy exam setup
- Supervise the examination process effectively
- Guide students through complex anatomy concepts
- Must have human anatomy lab experience
- Strong understanding of circulatory and thoracic anatomy
- Effective English communication skills required
- Experience in thoracic dissections preferred
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
