Engage in hands-on teaching of ENEL 441:

The University of Calgary's Department of Electrical and Software Engineering seeks a qualified Sessional Instructor for the Fall 2026 course ENEL 441. Candidates should hold at least a master’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering, with proven teaching performance in related subjects. Responsibilities include leading lectures, labs, and tutorials, fostering an environment of active learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lectures every Tuesday and Thursday
• Facilitate lab sessions for hands-on learning
• Conduct weekly tutorials to reinforce concepts
• Guide students in feedback control system analysis
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in engineering discipline required
• Strong background in control systems subject matter
• Proven teaching skills or potential for excellence
• Professional Engineer registration preferred
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency prioritized
