Join UBC's Faculty of Medicine as an Assessment Coordinator, where you'll coordinate and enhance diverse assessment strategies that shape medical education.
In this role, you will liaise with faculty and program staff to support assessment development, scoring, and performance reporting for the Undergraduate Medical Program. Your expertise will facilitate the creation of accurate examination materials and strategic assessment methodologies while ensuring adherence to academic standards. You will also contribute to ongoing projects aimed at improving assessment processes.
Key Responsibilities- Create and blueprint assessment materials with faculty
- Score OSCEs and retrieve performance reports
- Manage assessment databases and implement data protection
- Supervise delivery of remedial and supplemental exams
- Participate in assessment-related continuous improvement
- Degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum two years of related experience
- Familiarity with educational testing and measurement
- Skills in Microsoft Office and statistical tools
- Capacity to work independently and under pressure
