Oxford Learning Calgary Acadia seeks dedicated individuals to fill part-time teaching roles. Ideal candidates are those with a passion for Math and Science who have experience engaging students at high school levels. Tutors will work after school and on Saturdays, imparting knowledge in a structured, supportive environment without the need for lesson planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach up to three students simultaneously at varying levels
• Deliver lessons online and in-person based on existing plans
• Utilize Oxford Learning methodologies and principles
• Complete post-lesson notes to track progress
• Update student communication regularly
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification
• Experience tutoring or teaching Grades 9-12
• Strong understanding of elements such as calculus and biology
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multitasking in a dynamic setting
