Part-Time Dance Educator

Shape young dancers' futures at Branksome Hall as a part time Dance Educator for Senior and Middle School. Inspire Grades 7–10 through a diverse dance curriculum starting August 2026.

Branksome Hall is looking for a passionate Dance Educator for a 90% part-time role. This position combines permanent teaching of dance with project-based curriculum in Career Studies. The ideal candidate will create engaging lessons and collaborate closely with the Arts and Health & Physical Education departments, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all learners.

• Design a supportive learning environment focusing on personal growth
• Encourage students to build essential dance skills
• Maintain strong communication with students and parents
• Align curriculum with IB and Ministry guidelines
• Develop responsive dance programs for diverse learners

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Certification from the Ontario College of Teachers in Dance
• At least three years of relevant teaching experience
• Experience with IB framework is advantageous
• Effective curriculum design and assessment strategies
