The University of Manitoba is seeking a Sessional Instructor for the Family SOC 2460 course for the winter term. Candidates should possess a Master's degree or higher, preferably with expertise in Family Studies. Responsibilities include instructing, grading assignments, and providing feedback to enhance student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare instructional and testing materials
• Instruct and evaluate student performance
• Mark and grade exams and assignments
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance understanding
• Maintain regular office hours for student interactions
Requirements:
• Master's degree, Ph.D., or Ph.D. candidate preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Specialized knowledge in the subject area
• Proven competence in post-secondary teaching
• Empathetic approach towards student concerns
