Position: Permanent Secondary English Teacher at DSBN
Become a Permanent Secondary English Teacher with the District School Board of Niagara, starting in the  school year. Focus on equity, inclusion, and fostering a supportive classroom environment.

This role invites qualified secondary occasional teachers and external applicants in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. You must hold a Senior English qualification, with a preference for candidates having Special Education Part
1. Your main goal is to inspire students and facilitate meaningful learning experiences for all.

• Deliver an engaging English curriculum to secondary students

• Promote equity and inclusion across the classroom

• Empower learners through mindful teaching practices

• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the school community

• Assess and report on student progress accurately

Requirements:

• Qualified DSBN Secondary Occasional Teacher

• Good Standing with Ontario College of Teachers

• Hold a Senior English qualification

• Preferred Special Education Part 1

• Commitment to equity and anti-racism principles
