Join the University of Manitoba as a Sessional Instructor for FMLY 1012 A01 and teach Introduction to Social Development. This role emphasizes student engagement and assessment.
From September 1 to December 18, 2026, you will take on the responsibility of preparing teaching materials, instructing students, and providing feedback on their academic performance. Effective communication and an empathetic attitude towards student challenges are vital for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and prepare instructional and exam materials
• Instruct and facilitate learning during class
• Evaluate and grade exams and assignments
• Offer constructive feedback and support
• Maintain regular office hours to assist students
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Specialized background in subject area required
• Proven teaching competence in post-secondary education
• Compassionate approach to student needs
