Nurse Practitioner; Assistant​/Associate Professor

Position Overview

Full‑time tenure‑track or tenured Nurse Practitioner at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, commencing January1,2026 or a mutually agreed date. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses using on‑site or various distance educational modalities.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students.
• Develop and maintain an ongoing funded scholarly or research program.
• Provide leadership in service to the College, University, professional and academic communities, committees, and related activities.

• Doctoral prepared with a PhD in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or Doctor of Nursing preferred.
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba with an RN(NP) designation is required.
• Evidence of a program of research and scholarship, including funded research and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Evidence of effective teaching.

• Doctoral prepared with a PhD in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or Doctor of Nursing preferred.
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba with an RN(NP) designation is required.
• An established scholarly or research record in health care, including peer‑reviewed publications and demonstrated ability to obtain competitive research grants.
• Established research/scholarly networks.
• Track record of excellence in teaching, course development, and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Relevant clinical background and evidence of a well‑developed scholarly activity program.
