Senior School Career Education Teacher

Pursue a fulfilling role as a Senior School Career Education Teacher at Crofton House School, integrating Work Integrated Learning into student development. This full-time, on-site position focuses on guiding grades 8-12 students in their academic and career journeys.

As a dedicated educator, you will deliver the B.C. Career Education curriculum while facilitating connections to meaningful work experiences. Your role includes nurturing individual learner growth through collaborative teaching, mentoring students in resume writing and interview skills, and expanding their professional networks via local partnerships. Engage actively in the broader school community to enrich the learning setting.

• Implement B.C. curriculum for Career Education in grades 8-12
• Mentor students in their academic and career aspirations
• Collaborate as part of the Career Education team
• Facilitate connections with businesses for work placements
• Conduct mock interviews and prepare students for applications

• Bachelor of Education or comparable qualification
• Experience in teaching Career Education at the senior school level
• Comprehensive knowledge of current B.C. educational practices
• Proven coordination of work placement opportunities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
