Spanish Language Demonstrator Position

Join the University of Manitoba as a Spanish Demonstrator for SPAN 1262. Assist students through lectures, tutorials, and assessment, fostering a supportive learning environment.

This part-time role begins on September 1, 2026, providing you the opportunity to impact students' Spanish learning journey. You will work under CUPE 3909 Unit 1, preparing educational materials and consulting with students regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend all scheduled lectures and instruction sessions

• Mark assignments and exams with guidance

• Develop instructional materials for Spanish courses

• Maintain scheduled consultation times for students

• Act as a substitute for teaching staff when approved

Requirements:

• Completion of studies relevant to Spanish language instruction

• Understanding of student concerns and instructional needs

• Effective English language communication skills

• Valid study permit for on-campus work for international students

• Must be a full-time student at the University of Manitoba
