Position Overview
Embark on a rewarding role as an attendant to handicapped students at REACH, beginning in the school year. This position is vital for facilitating student participation in their educational journey.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring students' hygiene, safety, and personal care needs are met. The role requires close collaboration with teachers and school principals to apply Individual Education Plans effectively. You will play an essential part in the students’ comfort and engagement in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement IEP instructions for student care
- Assist students in transportation and movement
- Support personal hygiene tasks like washing and dressing
- Supervise students during daycare activities
- Document significant information for teachers and therapists
- Vocational studies diploma in patient assistance
- One year experience in similar roles
- Current first aid course certification
- Understanding of human relations principles
- Demonstrated self-discipline skills
