Instrumental Band Leader at St. Andrew's College

Lead the Upper School Music program as the part-time Instrumental Band Leader rew’s College. Engage Grades 9 and 10 students from August 2026 to June 2027.

In this instrumental leadership role, you will direct the Symphonic Band while facilitating rehearsals, sectionals, and smaller performance groups. This position blends music performance with composition and theory, enhancing student engagement in music education throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various band formation rehearsals

• Collaborate with music faculty and students

• Plan engaging concerts and school music events

• Foster student interest in music theory concepts

• Support development of the overall music curriculum

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field

• Proficiency in multiple band instruments

• Experience teaching senior school music

• Strong background in music pedagogy techniques

• OCT certification or equivalent preferred
