This full-time temporary role centers on teaching APN 136. You will guide students in integrating theoretical concepts through practical client care experiences in a residential setting. Key teaching areas include medication management, comprehensive health assessments, and developing organizational skills in nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach APN 136:
Consolidated Practice Experience
• Supervise students during clinical placements
• Ensure effective medication administration and wound care
• Implement thorough health assessments for clients
• Foster a learning environment driven by inquiry
Requirements:
• Accredited Practical Nursing Diploma or equivalent
• Active nursing license in British Columbia
• Three to five years of Canadian nursing experience
• Completed Indigenous cultural safety coursework
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
