The University of Winnipeg is seeking a passionate and certified instructor for a 0.67-term role. You will teach a range of High School Humanities and English courses, ideally holding a Master’s Degree in Education or a related field. The position is part of a dynamic academic community committed to excellence and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Social Studies 10F and History 30F courses
• Instruct Geography 20F and Indigenous Studies (TRC) 21G
• Develop engaging lesson plans and assessment methods
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance curriculum
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Certified teacher specializing in High School Humanities
• Strong background in English and related subjects
• Master’s Degree in Education or relevant field preferred
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education
• Successful clearance through background checks required
