Temporary EARehab Assistant

Position: Temporary EA2 Rehab Assistant Needed
Become an EA2 Rehab Assistant at Pembina Trails School Division, where you will support inclusive practices while working with students of diverse abilities. This temporary role runs from September 8, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

In this position, the EA2 Rehabilitation Assistant will focus on facilitating students' educational journey under the guidance of school administrators and specialized professionals.

Your role will encompass providing academic assistance, administering health care procedures, and supporting students with both emotional and physical needs. Collaboration with teachers is essential to ensure effective delivery of tailored programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic assistance in various settings

• Support personal care and toileting needs

• Facilitate mobility training and assistance

• Administer student medications as per plans

• Supervise students during lunch and recreation

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Rehabilitation Assistant Certificate

• Experience with special needs populations preferred

• Familiarity with health care procedures and equipment

• Capability to lift and aid in mobility exercises

• Effective communicator with a student-focused approach
