Position: Resource Teacher for At-Risk Students
Lead inclusion initiatives as a Resource Teacher at General Byng School. Implement interventions and support diverse learners in a collaborative environment starting September 8, 2026.

As a permanent Resource Teacher, you will be instrumental in promoting effective educational programming for at-risk students. Your expertise in high-yield inclusive practices and innovative strategies will create a supportive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with educators and families to enhance individual education plans and transition strategies for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive research-based leadership and strategic planning

• Create tailored interventions for diverse learning needs

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff for effective outcomes

• Organize and facilitate training for educational assistants

• Manage and maintain electronic pupil records according to policy

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of inclusive educational practices

• Strong understanding of curriculum outcomes

• Proven ability in consultation and collaboration

• Experience with case management and IEP development

• Familiarity with Manitoba education inclusion documents
