Enhance student learning as a Grader for POLS 2802 at the University of Manitoba. Provide effective feedback and mark assignments within a flexible schedule of up to 4.5 hours weekly.
This role supports the Department of Political Science and involves orienting with an employment supervisor for grading assignments. Your responsibilities include grading tests, exams, projects, and offering written feedback to students. Regular consultations on results will also be part of your duties, ensuring students understand their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with supervisor for grading guidelines
• Grade students' tests, projects, and exams
• Provide written feedback on submitted work
• Maintain scheduled consultation times with students
• Assist in producing assessments under supervision
Requirements:
• Completion of academic studies relevant to grading
• Empathetic approach to student needs
• Strong English language skills
• Preference for registered students in Political Science
• Attach a copy of the latest student transcript
