Shape student success as a Tutor in Writing at the Success Centre. This role involves personalized tutoring, collaboration with diverse teams, and facilitating academic workshops.
As a Success Centre Tutor, your primary focus will be on providing tailored academic support within the institute. You will engage with students across various subjects while promoting their involvement in workshops and events. This position also emphasizes the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personalized tutoring and academic support to students
• Collaborate with staff, Elders, and faculty
• Promote student engagement in workshops and cultural events
• Support understanding of subject material across platforms
• Facilitate and support academic workshops
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in English preferred
• Experience in Universal Design and Special Education
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and languages
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Flexible schedule availability for evenings and weekends
Support students' learning journey through careful guidance and inclusive mentoring at the Success Centre.
