Your role will emphasize safety and student-centered activities, ensuring a productive lab experience while catering to diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach the human ecology curriculum with a focus on engagement
• Facilitate lab-based instruction in cooking and textiles
• Implement safety protocols in classroom settings
• Organize small group and individualized learning sessions
• Participate in ongoing professional growth opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education and relevant Human Ecology degree
• Permanent teacher certificate and valid food handlers certificate
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Familiarity with grade 7-12 human ecology curriculum
• Skills in collaboration and problem-solving
