Starting September 8, 2026, this 0.75 FTE teaching term at Westdale School offers an opportunity to inspire students in areas like foods, nutrition, and consumer education.

Your role will emphasize safety and student-centered activities, ensuring a productive lab experience while catering to diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the human ecology curriculum with a focus on engagement

• Facilitate lab-based instruction in cooking and textiles

• Implement safety protocols in classroom settings

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and relevant Human Ecology degree

• Permanent teacher certificate and valid food handlers certificate

• CPR/First Aid certification

• Familiarity with grade 7-12 human ecology curriculum
