Position: Sessional Instructor for Cree Language Course
Become a Sessional Instructor for the Intermediate Cree 2 course at the University of Manitoba. Engage students through effective instruction and assessment from January 1-April 30, 2025.

This position includes teaching and guiding students in two sessions each week. Responsibilities encompass preparing relevant instructional materials, grading assignments, and providing necessary feedback. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in Cree language instruction and show proficiency in engaging with students to address their learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop instructional and assessment materials

• Teach and facilitate class discussions on Cree language

• Evaluate and grade student work consistently

• Offer supportive and constructive feedback

• Hold regular office hours for student inquiries

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a related field preferred

• Strong oral and written English communication skills

• Demonstrated experience in relevant subject area

• Competence in post-secondary teaching practices

• Empathetic and responsive to student needs
