We are seeking a permanent Mathematics Instructional Coach to work under the Area Superintendent's guidance. Your primary focus will be enhancing student learning outcomes by supporting teachers in implementing effective mathematics programming. This role involves strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to achieving educational goals across school divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide teachers on the implementation of mathematics curriculum
• Participate in strategic planning for improving Mathematics education
• Support administrators and teachers in instructional development
• Facilitate professional learning opportunities in Mathematics
• Help with individual lesson planning to meet diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate and Bachelor of Education Degree
• Minimum five years of classroom experience in mathematics
• Proven knowledge of instructional strategies and assessment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Manitoba Driver's License for travel within Area 3
