Be a key part of Pembina Trails School Division as an Educational Assistant
1. Support students with diverse needs, promoting an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere every day.

In this role, you will work under the guidance of school administrators and collaborate with teachers to assist students facing behavioral and learning challenges. Your daily tasks will involve providing academic support in various formats and delivering adapted programs based on individual requirements. You will ensure that students feel supported both emotionally and physically during their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with academic tasks in classroom settings

• Work with students exhibiting learning challenges

• Provide supervision during lunch and recess

• Document student performance within programs

• Support specialized communication methods

Requirements:

• Proven experience with diverse student needs

• Strong collaboration skills with educational staff

• Flexibility in adapting to specific student requirements

• Familiarity with safety plans and caregiving tasks

• Ability to assist with feeding and supervision
