- Maintain a strong, externally funded research programme focused on health systems, health policy, global health, or related fields.
- Publish in peer‑reviewed journals and demonstrate impact, originality and quantity of scholarship.
- Secure and manage research grants, foster collaborations and mentor graduate and postdoctoral scholars.
- Design, deliver, and supervise undergraduate and graduate courses, building research capacity among students and clinicians.
- Provide leadership in service to the College, University, and professional/academic communities through committee work and external activities.
- Advocate for knowledge translation and mobilization, ensuring research co‑developed with patients, communities and health system partners is implemented in practice and policy.
- PhD in Nursing or a related health discipline; established research record with peer‑reviewed publications.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain competitive research grants and build research networks.
- Evidence of strong relationships with partner organizations and experience supervising research students and projects.
- Proven excellence in teaching, course development and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- For Associate and Full Professors: well‑developed research program in a specific health‑related area, current national grant funding, strong publications track record and national reputation.
- Strong communication skills, clinical expertise (if relevant) and ability to build collegial relationships.
