Overview

The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2026 FNCE 559.03 LEC 03 (Project Finance). Classes run from September 1 to December 4, 2026.

    Description:

    “Investigation of selected topics related to financial management, emphasizing the application of financial management principles to actual problems in the corporate sector.”
Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned lecture sessions for the Fall 2026 semester, including delivering instruction, facilitating discussion, assessing student performance, and ensuring compliance with course objectives.
  • Provide scheduled exams and support student learning through virtual or in‑person modalities.
Qualifications
  • MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable.
  • Previous post‑secondary teaching experience is a requirement.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have experience providing instruction face‑to‑face and online in a post‑secondary setting.
  • Experience with Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset.
