Lead the digital evolution of vocational training in Ethiopia as a TVET Digitalization Advisor. Engage with the Ministry of Labor and Skills to integrate AI and enhance education.
In this volunteer position based in Addis Ababa, starting in August 2026, you will play a vital role in shaping a modern educational environment. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on AI-focused curricula, establishing industry links for skill development, and conducting critical assessments of educational infrastructure. As part of a broader Canada-Ethiopia partnership, your work will advance Ethiopia’s economic reform agenda and empower local entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Revise CBET curricula for hybrid learning modalities
• Deliver training on platforms like Google Classroom
• Collaborate with tech firms to provide skills micro-credentials
• Conduct Digital Readiness Assessments at TVET colleges
• Encourage gender diversity through mentorship programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
• 3+ years of experience in e-learning or TVET
• Excellent writing and presentation abilities
• Familiarity with LMS tools
• Proficient in English at fluent level
