Pursue a rewarding teaching role at our college as a Part-Time Professor for the Special Education Techniques program, starting Fall 2026. Engage students through innovative teaching methods and practical experiences.
We are seeking a qualified skilled to teach within our Special Education Techniques (SET) program, which runs from August 17th, 2026 to January 15th, 2027. The position requires 2 hours of theory and lab instruction each week, along with 4 hours of student support. Your role will help students understand the various career paths available in Special Education Techniques, aligning them with relevant practices in Quebec’s educational and health contexts.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare course outlines and instructional materials
- Teach classes and supervise lab sessions
- Conduct examinations and provide feedback on corrections
- Participate in departmental meetings and pedagogical days
- Support diverse student needs and career development
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Care Counselling or related field
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Experience in adult learning is an asset
- Fluency in French and English required
- Knowledge of Québec’s Health and Social Services would be beneficial
