Part-Time Professor in Special Education

Pursue a rewarding teaching role at our college as a Part-Time Professor for the Special Education Techniques program, starting Fall 2026. Engage students through innovative teaching methods and practical experiences.

We are seeking a qualified skilled to teach within our Special Education Techniques (SET) program, which runs from August 17th, 2026 to January 15th, 2027. The position requires 2 hours of theory and lab instruction each week, along with 4 hours of student support. Your role will help students understand the various career paths available in Special Education Techniques, aligning them with relevant practices in Quebec’s educational and health contexts.

• Prepare course outlines and instructional materials
• Teach classes and supervise lab sessions
• Conduct examinations and provide feedback on corrections
• Participate in departmental meetings and pedagogical days
• Support diverse student needs and career development

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Care Counselling or related field
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience
• Experience in adult learning is an asset
• Fluency in French and English required
• Knowledge of Québec’s Health and Social Services would be beneficial
