The University of Manitoba is seeking a Sessional Instructor for PHED 3732, starting January 4, 2027. This role requires a Master's degree, with teaching experience and subject specialization being essential. You will deliver engaging instruction, assess student performance, and maintain regular office hours to address student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare instructional and testing materials for the course
• Instruct and assess students in Dance and Rhythmic Activities
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and exams
• Maintain regular office hours for student consultations
• Support student engagement through innovative teaching methods
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Competence in post-secondary teaching
• Background in Dance or related field required
• Empathetic approach towards student needs
