Become a Temporary Educational Assistant with Evergreen School Division rge Johnson School starting September 8, 2026. This role focuses on supporting students academically and socially during school hours.
Candidates must possess a minimum of Grade 12 and relevant educational training, ideally with a Para Educator Certificate. You will be tasked with assisting in various student activities and supervising daily routines while fostering an inclusive atmosphere for learning. The selected individuals will contribute to the overall development of students until June 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic and social support to students
• Facilitate speech-language and communication tasks
• Support individualized education plans effectively
• Supervise daily student activities and routines
• Assist with library services and student engagement
Requirements:
• Grade 12 minimum or equivalent certification
• Desired Para Educator Certificate or qualifications
• Training in behavior management is valuable
• Relevant experience working with students
• Competence in technology and computer skills
