Substitute Teacher

Position: Granite School District Substitute Teacher
Join Granite School District as a Substitute Teacher for the  academic year.

Your role will involve providing instruction and support in the absence of regular teachers.

This position welcomes student teacher candidates ready to step into the classroom. You'll be responsible for following lesson plans, offering classroom support, and maintaining a safe learning environment. Engage actively with students while complying with all district policies and procedures throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow provided lesson plans and instructional materials

• Offer meaningful instruction and support to students

• Ensure a safe, orderly classroom presence

• Supervise students in various school settings

• Report any concerns to school administration

Requirements:

• Clear a background check before employment

• Hold an Associate degree or have 60 credit hours

• Willingness to travel to different schools

• Must work at least three days per month

• Ability to lift and move classroom materials as needed
