K-12 Special Education Teaching

Position: K-12 Special Education Teaching Role
Join Amergis as a Special Education Teacher, focused on students from kindergarten to grade 12. Engage in impactful teaching while collaborating with a dedicated team to support special education needs.

In this role, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, you will develop and fulfill individualized programs for special education students. Your involvement will not only include tutorial assistance but also meaningful consultation with general education teachers. This position is well-suited for educators passionate about enhancing student learning through collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive educational services to K-12 students

• Craft and administer customized student programs

• Work closely with general education staff for consultation

• Provide tutorial assistance and special instruction

• Adhere to professional standards of practice in education

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred

• Valid teaching certificate in accordance with state regulations

• At least one year of teaching experience preferred

• Endorsement:
Learning Behavior Specialist preferred

• Necessary health certifications as required
