Position: Future Foundations Academy PE Teacher
Join Future Foundations Academy as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher dedicated to students with autism. This role focuses on teaching vital physical skills and mindfulness for overall wellness.

Beginning September 1, 2026, this ten-month position involves collaboration with the School Principal in guiding students aged 8 to 21. You are responsible for designing engaging, adaptive physical fitness classes that foster teamwork and leadership. Effective communication with parents is crucial for enhancing student growth in a supportive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored adaptive physical education lessons

• Teach physical fitness and various team sports

• Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress

• Actively engage parents in their child's education

• Keep detailed records of student attendance

Requirements:

• Must have State Certification for Physical Education

• Bachelor's degree is required;
Master's preferred

• Experience teaching at appropriate grade levels

• Knowledgeable in health education

• Effective communication with all stakeholders
