Position: Contract Staff Teaching Intermediate German
Join the University of Winnipeg as Contract Academic Staff teaching Intermediate German (GERM- ) this Fall. Inspire students through your passion for language and culture in this engaging role.
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures invites applications for teaching the Intermediate German course. With classes held three times a week, you will guide students from September 8 to December 7, 2026, in a supportive learning environment. This position includes 36 scheduled classes on Main Campus, contributing to students’ cultural proficiency and linguistic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in Intermediate German language principles

• Create and organize engaging lesson materials

• Monitor and assess students' linguistic development

• Facilitate classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

• Encourage a positive classroom dynamic and participation
Requirements:

• Minimum MA in German Studies

• Previous experience in language instruction

• Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills

• Dedication to fostering an inclusive environment

• Flexibility in adapting lessons to student needs
