Position: Assistant Dean for Girls' Boarding Program
Join Balmoral Hall School as the Assistant Dean responsible for fostering a nurturing boarding environment for adolescent girls. This full-time role combines leadership with hands-on mentorship during late afternoon and evening hours.

The Assistant Dean of Boarding at Balmoral Hall School works under the Dean of Boarding to manage the daily care of up to 70 students. Your key focus areas will include maintaining a safe, healthy environment and mentoring both assistants and boarders. Your organization and critical thinking skills will be vital in enhancing both daily living and enriching activities for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support boarding assistants effectively

• Maintain compliance with safety and housekeeping protocols

• Plan and execute events that enhance boarding life

• Mentor students and staff to foster development

• Ensure physical and emotional well-being of all boarders

Requirements:

• Strong engagement skills with adolescent groups

• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

• 2-3 years’ experience in youth services

• Willingness to work flexible evening and weekend hours

• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of boarding needs
