Accept a part-time Sessional Instructor role at the University of Manitoba, teaching HIST 2610, the Making of Contemporary Ukraine, from January to April 2027. Foster student learning through effective communication.
As a part-time instructor in the Department of History, you will facilitate HIST 2610 A01. Candidates with a master's or Ph.D. degree, or those currently pursuing their doctorate, are highly encouraged to apply. Essential skills encompass strong communication and robust teaching capabilities in historical subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver impactful course materials
• Assess, instruct, and actively engage students
• Mark and grade assignments and exams as required
• Provide insightful feedback to students' work
• Maintain office hours for addressing student queries
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
• Proficient in both oral and written English
• Strong specialization in historical subjects
• Proven competence in teaching necessary
• Previous teaching experience beneficial
Contribute to enriching student experiences with your passion for history at the University of Manitoba.
