Position: Long & McQuade Music Instructor Role
Teach aspiring musicians as a Music Lessons Teacher with Long & McQuade in Prince George, BC. Focus on various instruments in both group and individual settings, nurturing each student’s talent.

Long & McQuade is hiring independent contractors for its Lesson Centres. The position is ideal for those holding a music degree, RCM credentials, or equivalent experience. You'll be responsible for planning and conducting lessons to engage students of different ages and skill levels in their musical journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in instruments like piano, drums, and bass

• Craft engaging and effective lesson plans for learners

• Use proven teaching methods and established curricula

• Facilitate individual and small group teaching sessions

• Establish a welcoming and encouraging learning space

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM level or a music degree

• Experience teaching students of all ages and levels

• Acquainted with standard music teaching practices

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Committed to supporting students' musical development
