Calgary Grade 9-10 Science Teacher

The Palliser School Division is hiring a full-time Grade 9-10 Science and Grade 8 Options Teacher at the National Sport School, starting August 21, 2026. Be a part of shaping future leaders in education and sports.

This probationary role focuses on providing a supportive educational experience for students in grades 8-10 while accommodating various learning styles. You'll leverage collaboration with colleagues to foster a well-rounded academic environment that aligns with Alberta's education standards and student-athlete needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design objectives that align with Alberta Education's curriculum

• Use varied instructional approaches to engage students

• Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive student records

• Organize and supervise students in class projects

• Foster collaboration among educators to support student needs

Requirements:

• Must have an Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Experience with curriculum for junior and high school students

• Recent successful Criminal Reference Check is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction

• Ability to establish rapport with students and families
