Position: Academic Role in Social Work Education

At the Brantford campus, you will lead a course designed to teach theories and critical skills needed for personal relationships in social work. Ideal candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work or be completing a PhD. Engage with a class size of 40-45, focusing on ethics, interviewing, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures on social work theories for individuals

• Instruct on effective interview and assessment strategies

• Address the needs of marginalized populations

• Ensure ethical practice and record accuracy

• Assess and support student understanding

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work required

• Desired practice experience in social work

• Evidence of teaching capabilities
