Offer your expertise as a part-time Professor in Special Education Techniques during the Fall 2026 semester, focusing on delivering lectures and lab sessions. Connect with students and adapt to their varied learning needs throughout the program.
The college is looking for a qualified part-time professor to begin teaching within the Special Education Techniques program. You will prepare course outlines, conduct classes, and supervise student activities. This role requires a collaborative approach as well as strong communication skills to create an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach classes, labs, and fieldwork effectively
• Support and supervise students during their learning process
• Participate actively in departmental meetings
• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations
• Address student requests for corrections and feedback
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Care Counselling or similar
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience
• Must be fluent in French and English
• Experience in post-secondary education is an asset
• Understanding of the Québec Health and Social Services system
