The Interpersonal Anti-Racism (SK617(SB1)) course is aimed at helping students recognize and address racism in social contexts. Instructors must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related area, with preferred eligibility to teach graduate-level courses. This role requires educators to reflect on their experiences of race in order to empower students to confront racism effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct on anti-racism in social work principles
• Facilitate exploration of interpersonal racism
• Encourage personal reflection among students
• Develop engaging course content and evaluations
• Participate in faculty training and development
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or associated discipline
• Must be qualified to teach graduate courses
• A PhD is considered an asset
• Good teaching credentials and references mandatory
• Evidence of work eligibility in Canada required
