Senior Educator Career Development

Position: Senior Educator for Career Development at Crofton House
Become a Senior School Career Education Teacher at Crofton House School, where you will guide grades 8-12 students through academic and career pathways. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on student development.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering the B.C. Career Education curriculum while cultivating students' connection to real-world work experiences. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students on resume writing and interview skills, alongside enriching their professional networks through local partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement B.C. curriculum for Career Education in grades 8-12

• Mentor students in their academic and career aspirations

• Collaborate as part of the Career Education team

• Facilitate connections with businesses for work placements

• Conduct mock interviews and prepare students for applications

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or comparable qualification

• Experience in teaching Career Education at the senior school level

• Comprehensive knowledge of current B.C. educational practices

• Proven coordination of work placement opportunities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
